Developed reactions of 2,3-disubstituted aluminacyclopent-2-enes to prepare 1,1-disubstituted cyclopropanes; Alkyne cyclopropanation by CH2I2-Et3Al reagent was realized; Cp2TiCl2 catalyzed hydroalkylation of alkenes by t-BuBr.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

 

Focused toward to the following:

 

(i) Development of new synthetic procedures based on application of organometallic reagents and/or metallocomplex catalysts.  Currently it includes reactions of  organometallic compounds of Al, Mg and Li with substrates containing double and triple carbon-carbon bond catalyzed by Zr, Ti, Pd and Ni complexes.

 

(ii) Enantioselective addition to double carbon-carbon bond induced by chiral complexes of transition metals. Computational modelling of chiral transitions states for preliminary screening of enantioselective catalysts.

-         Chemistry of organoaluminium, -lithium, -magnesium and -sodium compounds (preparation and reactions)

-         Reaction mechanism (low-temperature FT-NMR)
